Every project carries its own energy, a specific gravity that determines what it needs to come alive. Our role is to protect that energy: to ensure the development stays true to its essence while every investor is looked after with the rigour they expect.
This is why we don't build large permanent teams. We work with collaborators and specialists chosen for each project, people whose instincts align with the land, the culture, and the vision at hand.
Marwan and Graham first met in Ethiopia in 2014 and began working together on a project in Addis Ababa in 2018. The relationship wasn't planned, it was built over years, across borders, before Adeem existed.

He founded Adeem Capital to find and develop the land, and WABI to bring it to life. Both grew from a simple observation: people are longing to connect, to feel, to simply be. The most natural way to do that has always been in community, gathering around a fire, sharing stories, being present with one another. They exist to build the places where that happens again.
His family has been developing hotels across North Africa and the Middle East for decades. Background in PwC and the energy sector. Every project is conceived, structured, and personally led by him.

Graham Parrot
With over a decade of experience investing across Africa and the Middle East, Graham brings a proven track record in structuring and executing complex transactions in frontier markets. He has deployed capital across real estate, infrastructure, and private equity, with a focus on identifying asymmetric opportunities in under-served markets.
